Unorthodox - Wretch 32 ft Example

After being shortlisted for BBC's Sound of 2011, it would seem that this year is Wretch 32's turn to tackle the mainstream.  After top 10 sucess with "Traktor", I feel his follow up track "Unorthodox" is lacking something.  Whilst it has commercial stamped all over it (perhaps down to the almost sacrilegious sample of The Stone Roses "Fool's Gold") and the now radio-friendly Example on the chorus (who to me is definitely more at home rapping than singing), it is far too rounded and misses the rawness that I feel makes Wretch 32 one of the country's best lyricists.
